General Terms and Conditions, as of June 13, 2021

The sonoroCARE extended warranty offered by us can only be concluded in connection with a purchase contract for a product that was purchased via the website www.sonoro.com (website) operated by sonoro audio GmbH (sonoro) or from a qualified partner. By purchasing sonoroCARE, you automatically agree to the terms and conditions set out here. The conclusion of the warranty extension becomes effective upon receipt of the invoice from sonoro, which also indicates the conclusion of the warranty extension. The assertion of claims shall be governed exclusively by these General Terms and Conditions of
sonoroCARE apply exclusively.

What type of warranty extension do we offer?

sonoroCARE offers a 1-year extended warranty for all products purchased via www.sonoro.de or from a qualified partner. This means that you have a total warranty entitlement of 3 years for your product (2 years conventional manufacturer's warranty + 1 year sonoroCARE).

What is covered by sonoroCARE?

In the event of a defect, the warranty extension includes the following services:

  1. Mechanical or electrical malfunction or functional impairment attributable to a material, design, production or assembly defect in the product.

  2. If the product is defective, it will be repaired by sonoro and the warranty claim will remain valid in this case.

  3. If a repair is not possible, sonoro reserves the right to supply a replacement product with the same technical specifications in individual cases.

  4. NOT covered are rechargeable batteries and / or batteries of any kind.

When does the warranty extension begin and end?

The warranty service is always valid for 1 additional year, in addition to the 2 years already granted (a total of 3 years after receipt of the goods).
If, in the event of a complaint, a replacement product is delivered instead of a repair, the warranty will continue for the remainder of the originally agreed term on the replacement product.

Which services are excluded from sonoroCARE?

We are not obliged to repair the product if the complaint was caused deliberately. If a complaint has been caused by gross negligence, sonoro is entitled to reduce the service or refuse it completely.

What duties (obligations) must be observed during the term of the contract and what are the consequences of non-compliance?

We assume that the information you provided when registering the complaint is truthful and complete. Although there are no special pre-contractual notification obligations for the warranty case, sonoro may nevertheless contest the sonoroCARE purchase contract and thus the warranty extension on the grounds of fraudulent misrepresentation. During the contract period, you must follow the manufacturer's guidelines and treat the product appropriately. If you deliberately breach one of the above obligations, sonoro is released from its obligation to perform.

In the event of a grossly negligent breach of the obligation, sonoro is entitled to reduce its benefit in proportion to the severity of the fault. You must prove that there was no gross negligence.

What obligations must be observed in the event of a warranty claim and what are the consequences of non-compliance?

You are obliged to report the occurrence of a complaint immediately. To do this, contact sonoro customer service (contact details at www.sonoro.de/de/sonoro/kontakt) and follow the instructions there.

Who is entitled to purchase sonoroCARE?

Only customers with a billing address within the EU or Switzerland are eligible to purchase sonoroCARE.
