Building on the success of our ORCHESTRA series, we’ve developed speakers for anyone who wants big hi-fi sound in a small footprint—without, of course, compromising on our German audio design standards. In close collaboration with Karl-Heinz Fink, whose name is synonymous with exceptional sound regardless of price range, we’ve created compact speakers that truly come into their own when mounted on the wall, even in tight spaces.
Thoughtfully Designed Down to the Last Detail
Parallel walls are found only on the sides of the enclosure—this reduces standing waves and enclosure resonance. The two-layer “ body ” operates on the principle of constrained layer damping: the front consists of two layers of HDF, the remaining walls of two layers of MDF, with a special permanently elastic adhesive between each pair. The composite converts vibrational energy into heat and ensures the wood remains stable. The woofer-midrange driver’s cone is made of a Kevlar-reinforced composite of paper and bamboo—rigid enough to remain clean even at higher volume levels.
Rich, detailed, and precise sound
With their slim profile, the ORCHESTRA Slim Signature effortlessly fills small and medium-sized rooms. The rear-sloping baffle, the offset tweeter, and the carefully tuned crossover ensure clean timing, precise localisation, and a wide soundstage with clear, centered vocal presence. This lets you hear exactly where each instrument is located. Sonically, the Slim Signature speakers are closely related to the larger ORCHESTRA Shaped Signature —the same signature sound, just in a smaller format. They deliver their full bass response even when placed close to a wall, so feel free to place them on a shelf or against a wall.

In collaboration with industry icons Rainer Finck and Karl-Heinz Fink, sonoro has designed the Signature Line. In addition to the ORCHESTRA Slim Signature compact speakers, the line includes the ORCHESTRA Shaped Signature floorstanding speakers, the PLATINUM Signature turntable, and the MAESTRO Quantum Signature. With this, sonoro is taking the next step: hi-fi with high-end standards, distinctive design, and superior sound quality—yet still affordable for a broader audience.
German Audio Design
ORCHESTRA Slim 's Signature speakers are true eye-catchers in any living space. Their hand-sanded wooden cabinets are finished with a high-quality matte finish, and rounded corners and select aluminum details complete the look. The drivers fit seamlessly into the painted baffles without any visible screws, and the fabric covers are held in place by strong magnets. For us, sound and appearance aren’t developed one after the other, but together—designed and engineered in Neuss, Germany.
