Neuss, 19.06.2023 - sonoro audio GmbH, one of the leading providers of high-quality audio products from Neuss, has received the prestigious Red Dot Award for Product Design 2023 for three of its products. One of the coveted prizes went to the OSKAR TV voice amplifier, which the company developed under its faller brand, which specializes in sound solutions for people with hearing impairments. The jury also honored the ORCHESTRA (Gen. 2) and ORCHESTRA SLIM speakers with the award.

An "Oscar" for the OSKAR

The OSKAR TV voice amplifier solves a problem that almost every TV viewer has experienced at some point - even if their hearing is still intact: The music or sound effects in the movie or your favorite series are too loud, while the dialogue is difficult to understand. As hearing deteriorates with age, this becomes a real problem: in order to be able to follow the dialog, the TV is turned up louder and louder, which can become unbearable for your partner or neighbors and lead to tension.

Two buttons are all you need to operate the voice amplifier: An on/off rotary control, which also adjusts the volume, and a "voice filter" button, which can be used to optimize voices in TV dialogues in three stages and reduce distracting background noise if desired. OSKAR also works with all standard TV sets and can be connected to the TV in a few simple steps via the base station.

These advantages convinced the jury to award OSKAR the seal of quality for beautifully designed, easy-to-use and functional products.

Powerful sound in an elegant design: the ORCHESTRA speakers from sonoro

The speakers are also visually impressive with their slim dimensions and elegant design. Their hand-sanded wooden housing is refined with a high-quality matt finish. Rounded corners and selected details in aluminum round off the design. The chassis nestle seamlessly into the matt baffles without any visible screw connections.

With the new ORCHESTRA SLIM , sonoro now also offers powerful-sounding compact loudspeakers. The designer loudspeakers were developed to fill small and medium-sized rooms with clear sound.
